Whether
a beginner or intermediate weaver, this is the class for you! Beginning students will learn the various
parts of the loom, how to dress the loom, how to prepare warp for weaving, and
how to read a draft. They will also complete a sampler utilizing several
4-harness designs. This sampler can be used as a runner or can be made into a
series of placemats. Intermediate
students will learn more advanced methods.
Looms and related equipment are on site; you buy your own yarn and any
other supplies. The cost is $155, plus the
supplies.

Learn
about the selection and application methods for varying metal leaf materials
materials such as copper, silver, and gold; learn how to apply and manipulate
these materials with a focus on abstract compositions. Regardless of typical individual style, this
course will afford the student an excellent understanding about applying and
utilizing metallic leaf in their art work.
The cost is $85.00, plus supplies.
Watercolor & Pastel Landscape Drawing Wednesdays, Oct. 17 - Nov. 14, 6:30-9:30 pm (There will be NO class on Wednesday, Oct. 31.)
This
course is open to all skill levels.
Learning to work with water color and pastel media creates an excellent
foundation on which to develop your landscape painting skill. In this course we will explore how to use
watercolor with pastel to finish your artwork and develop your ability to
utilize multimedia techniques while creating work. The cost is $85.00, plus supplies.
